Sparsh is from Plainsboro, New Jersey and went to the University of Rochester for her undergraduate studies, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical and Translational Science and a minor in Studio Art. In August 2025, she will return to the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry to pursue her MD degree.
A passionate artist and scientist, Sparsh devotes her time to both biomedical research and the fine arts, constantly exploring the intersection between science and creativity. Her academic work has focussed on improving cardiac health of cancer survivors, while her artistic practice spans embroidery, drawing, and painting—often reflecting the intersection of art and science.
